PineWood Cabinets is a custom cabinet shop in Rocklin, California. We design the cabinetry, build it at 4271 Duluth Ave, and install it with our own crews. Most of our work is in the Sacramento region, the Sierra foothills and Lake Tahoe; we also build for homes across the Bay Area and the rest of California.
What We Build
Three kinds of work leave our Rocklin shop: kitchen cabinetry, built-in cabinetry for the rest of the house, and architectural millwork. Every piece is drawn for the room it goes in.
Inset or frameless cabinetry drawn to your kitchen, in hardwood, veneer or paint. Built in our Rocklin shop, finished in our own booth, installed by our crews.
Libraries, entertainment walls, mudrooms, dressing rooms and home offices built as cabinetry, not as modular shelving.
Coffered ceilings, stacked moulding, wainscoting and wall paneling, profiled to match the house and installed by the same crew that builds it.

Where We Work
Our shop and showroom are at 4271 Duluth Ave in Rocklin, in Placer County. The cabinetry is built here and travels with our installers, so the same people are responsible from the first drawing to the last hinge adjustment.

Every area we serveWith Your GC or Designer
PineWood Cabinets works under a C-6 license: cabinetry, millwork and finish carpentry. We design the cabinetry, produce the shop drawings, build it and install it. Your general contractor, architect or engineer owns the walls, framing, plumbing, electrical, gas and the building permit. We do not take walls down or move services, and we do not reface existing cabinets.
In practice that means our cabinet drawings go into your contractor's plan set, we hold final dimensions until the rough-in is confirmed on site, and we schedule the install date with the contractor so the room is ready when the cabinetry arrives. Andrey Voronenko
Founder & Master Craftsman
Andrey Voronenko learned the trade in his grandfather’s woodworking shop in rural Latvia, building doors and cabinets by hand before he ever touched a machine. He emigrated to the United States in the late 1990s, worked for Sacramento-area cabinetmakers, and went out on his own in 2006. He specializes in stacked moulding, coffered ceilings, and detail work most shops turn down.
The Shop
Paint and clear coats are sprayed in our own finishing booth in Rocklin, so color, sheen and touch-up stay with the people who built the piece.
Panels are cut on CNC for repeatable dimensions; doors, drawers and reveals are fitted by hand on site, where the walls are never square.
Doors, drawer fronts and fixed panels are cut in sequence from the same flitch so the grain runs continuously across a run of cabinets.
Concealed soft-close hinges, undermount slides and push-to-open where you want no pulls at all. Hardware carries its maker's own warranty.
